Method and device for facilitating wiring through holes in metal bolts.
Technical area.
The present invention relates to a method and a device for facilitating wiring, in particular the laying of knurled pipes, through holes in metal regulators with a U-shaped cross section.
Background.
When pulling grooved plastic pipes for power lines or water through holes in metal studs in buildings, it often happens that the plastic pipes, due to their knurled design, get hooked to the edges of the holes. In order to be able to pull the plastic pipes further, they must be shaken off the rule, which is an annoying and time-consuming job if there are many plastic pipes that have to be pulled through many holes, which is often the case.
Problem solving.
The object of the present invention is to solve this problem with a simple method and a simple device, as appears from the following claim 1 and with said method and device it is prevented that pipelines can come into contact with the edges of the holes in the metal studs and thus prevent the pipeline neck from sticking to the rules. In addition, the device in question is prevented from moving substantially in relation to the hole. Furthermore, the device in question is useful even if the cavity in the metal bolt is not correctly positioned, for example is not correctly centered.
List of figures.
Figure 1 shows with a rear view a sleeve included in the invention with wings placed in a metal latch.
Figure 2 shows a section 2-2 in Figure 1.
Figure 3 shows a sleeve with wings according to Figures 1 and 2 in perspective.
Technical description. The figures show a sleeve 1 with four wings 2-5, which protrudes from a part 6 of the sleeve 1 while an outer part 7 of the sleeve 1 lacks wings. The sleeve with its wings 2-5 is inserted into a metal bar 8 with a U-shaped cross section. Thus, the metal bolt 8 has a waist portion 9, two legs 10,11 extending therefrom and a longitudinally open side 12. The legs 10,11 can have inwardly folded end portions 13,14. The body portion 9 has holes 15 through which pipelines 16 (see figure 2) or equivalent for power cables, water or otherwise are to be laid. The pipelines 16 may, for example, be corrugated plastic pipes.
The sleeve 1 with its wings 2-5 is inserted into the metal latch 8 through its open side 12, its part 7, which lacks wings, is inserted into the hole 15 and its wings 2-5 are caused to join their outer parts 17-20 against the legs 10. , 11 insiders 21.22.
By bringing the outer part 7 of the sleeve 1 into the hole 15, it prevents pipelines 16 from coming into contact with the edges 23 of the hole 15 and thereby prevents the pipelines 16 from being hooked to the metal bolt 8. In addition, it means that the sleeve 1 can not move substantially longitudinally in the metal bolt 8 and thus cannot stand next to the hole 15.
The wings 2-5 can have resilient properties so that they can bend away from the inwardly folded end portions 13,14 of the legs 10,11 when the sleeve 1 is inserted into the metal latch 8 through its open side 12 and so that they can spring out again when they have passed said end portions 13,14 until their outer parts 17-20 abut against said insides 21,22. Hereby the sleeve 1 is quickly clamped to the metal bolt 8 by means of the wings 2-5.
The outer parts 17-20 of the wings 2-5 can have a width which is equal to or slightly less than the distances between the web portion 9 of the metal bar 8 and the folded end portions 13,14 of the legs 10,11. In this way it can be ensured that the sleeve 1 with its wings 2-5 cannot move in the axial direction in relation to the metal bolt 8 when it is in place. The wings 2-5 can have outer parts 17-20 which are wider than their inner parts at the sleeve 1 so that each outer part forms at least one pointed corner 24 which is intended to engage the corner of the metal bolt 8 at the body portion 9.
The invention is not limited to what is described above and shown in the drawings. It may thus be mentioned that there may be a different number of wings, that they may project from the sleeve in other ways than in radial directions and be arranged in other ways substantially in line with each other. applies on opposite sides of the sleeve arranged wings. Because the wings are resilient, they also allow them to adapt the sleeve to positions where the holes are incorrectly placed in the metal latch. Finally, it can be mentioned that the sleeve 1 and the wings 2-5 can be designed as a piece of plastic material and that its outer part 7 fits into different large and both round and four-sided holes 15.
